Gabe Zelico
INTERN
Now accepting clients: children ages 10+, teenagers, and young adults.
Gabe is a graduate intern pursuing a dual-degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.A.) and Sport and Performance Psychology (Ed.D.) from the University of Western States. He also holds a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from Cal State Fullerton (2022). With a strong foundation in mental performance coaching, Gabe brings unique insight into how the mind, body, and emotions interact in both daily life and high-performance settings.
Gabe takes an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring his work to the individual and prioritizing a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. He draws inspiration from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Neurobiology. His clinical interests include working with older children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, substance use and life transitions.
Warm, approachable, and attuned, Gabe helps clients develop new skills, deepen self-understanding, and foster resilience. He is available for a free 15-minute consultation call to help determine fit. Telehealth sessions are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and in-person on Thursdays at our Portland location.
Please fill out the form below to get in touch with him directly, or feel free to reach out via email or phone—whatever feels best for you.
