Jordyn Noland, M.A. Professional Counselor Associate

Life can be challenging at times and in those difficult times it can be hard to reach out and ask for help. I'm here as a resource to work alongside you in your journey towards growth, discovery, hope, and healing.  I'm passionate about working with clients who are dealing with issues related to body image, difficult relationship with food and/or exercise, anxiety, self-esteem and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.  I'm here to work with you through whatever journey you're embarking on in counseling.  I believe in a collaborative approach to counseling, where you, the client take the driver's seat as the expert on your life.

In our work together I will integrate an Emotion Focused Therapy lens, leaning into the client's emotional experiences.  I believe that our emotions can become key in understanding ourselves and our experiences.  In our work together we will begin to explore experiences, the accompanying emotions and their underlying meaning.  Along this journey my goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for you, the client, that allows for deeper exploration of the self.

In 2021 I received my Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  I received focused training in Eating Disorders, Emotion Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Filial Therapy, Couples Therapy, and Family Therapy.  I have also completed the Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

As a board registered intern I am continuing to accumulate hours towards licensure and am under the supervision of Michelle Engblom-Deglmann PhD, LMFT (OR and CA)
